New Epping Health Hub
About Project
The New Epping Health Hub is a landmark $1 billion healthcare and innovation precinct located in Melbourne’s rapidly growing northern corridor. Positioned within a 7-hectare purpose-designed health and wellness precinct, it forms part of the largest public-private health cluster in the region, integrating hospitals, research institutions, and allied health services into a single, connected ecosystem. Designed around the principles of health, healing, and innovation, the hub provides a future-ready platform for delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare services.
At the core of the development is a fully integrated healthcare network that includes the Northern Hospital (500+ beds) and the $133 million Northern Private Hospital, alongside education and research facilities such as the Northern Centre for Health Education and Research. The precinct is expected to deliver up to 80,000 m² of medical and healthcare space, supporting a wide range of services including specialist care, imaging, oncology, fertility, and allied health. This co-location of services enables seamless collaboration between providers, enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Beyond healthcare, the New Epping Health Hub is designed as a holistic wellness environment, featuring landscaped green spaces, access to Edgars Creek Reserve, and a 2.7 km nature loop that promotes recovery and wellbeing. Strategically located near major transport links and amenities such as Pacific Epping Shopping Centre, the hub ensures strong connectivity and convenience. As part of a broader masterplanned community, it represents a new benchmark for integrated healthcare infrastructure, combining medical excellence, sustainability, and community-focused design to support long-term growth and healthier living.
